Development Strategy Valga County 2010+ is an agreement between the residents of Valga County, its public, private and the third sector with the objective of mission-oriented and systematic development the County. Valga County Government, Valga County Association of Local Authorities, the municipalities of Helme, Hummuli, Karula, Otepää, Palupera, Puka, Põdrala, Sangaste, Taheva, Tõlliste, Õru, Tõrva Town and Valga Town, as well as Valga County Business Information Centre, Valga County Business Club and Valga County Local Neighbourhood Association agree upon the following:

• Development Strategy Valga County 2010+ is the basic document targeted at quick and well-balanced development that starts a new stage in the development of Valga County;

• There is firm willingness to support implementation of Valga County Vision 2010 that makes Valga County a magnificent region to live in, work in, study in and have a vacation in;

• Decision-making will be based on the priorities presented in the Development Strategy and efforts will be made to invest all the available resources into the mentioned priority development directions and projects.
